Sean co-founded Applewhite Tyll Retirement Planners in 2021 after working at Wells Fargo Advisors for seven years. Sean began his financial advisor career in 2012 at Edward Jones.

His guided approach to comprehensive wealth management includes the four cornerstones of wealth: investments, liability management, risk management, and estate planning. After intently listening to clients, Sean uses the information to create an individualized and customized strategy by studying and analyzing the findings.
Sean presents his recommendations in plain English, avoiding technical jargon whenever possible. He understands that situations, markets, and lives are ever-changing and evolving and proactively reviews and adjusts strategies as necessary.

In addition to his degree in business, Sean has earned the AAMS® certification (Accredited Asset Management Specialist) from The College for Financial Planning by completing an approved educational program, passing a rigorous examination, and upholding the highest ethical standards. In addition, Sean is active within his community serving on many boards and volunteering annually at major fundraising events. Sean resides in Shortpump, Virginia with his wife, Melanie, and their son, Dawson, and daughter, Willow.
